The most important of the 4 Cs. Cut determines how well a diamond interacts with light — how much it sparkles, shines and dazzles.

💡 Even a flawless diamond looks dull with a poor cut. Always prioritise Excellent or Very Good cut.

Diamonds are graded D (colourless) to Z (light yellow). The less colour in a white diamond, the more rare and valuable.

💡 For most settings, G–H colour offers the best value — virtually colourless to the naked eye.

Clarity measures internal inclusions (flaws) and external blemishes. Most inclusions are microscopic and invisible to the naked eye.

💡 VS1–VS2 clarity is our recommended sweet spot — eye-clean at a more accessible price point.

Carat is the unit of weight for diamonds. 1 carat = 0.2 grams. Larger diamonds are rarer, so price rises steeply with carat weight.

💡 A well-cut 0.9ct can look identical to a 1ct but cost 20% less. Smart choice!

A diamond's cut grade describes how precisely its facets interact with light. It's graded on three light performance measures: Brightness (white light reflected out), Fire (coloured light dispersed), and Scintillation (sparkle pattern).
